The state of Virginia A multi-vehicle collision in New Kent County on Saturday morning is causing major delays for drivers driving east on Interstate 64.
Just before 10:30 a.m., the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reported the collision at the Emmaus Church Road junction, close to mile marker 211.
Traffic backed up around 5.5 miles at 10:40 a.m. when the left shoulder, left lane, and right lane were all closed.
While first responders worked to clear the site, drivers are advised to stay away from the area and look for other routes.
