The state of Virginia For a missing 72-year-old Salem man who might be in danger, the Virginia State Police have issued a Senior Alert.
At around 7:41 p.m. on Friday, Robert Kenneth Mitchem was last saw leaving LewisGale Medical Center on Electric Road.
He reportedly fled the hospital on foot and hasn’t been seen since, according to the authorities.
Because of his cognitive disability, authorities think Mitchem’s disappearance presents a real risk to his safety and well-being.
He is characterized as a white man with gray hair, blue eyes, and a height of six feet and a weight of 160 pounds.
He might be dressed in a black jacket, blue jeans, a gray ball cap, and a green shirt.
