KENTUCKY According to Louisville Metro police, a man was murdered early Friday morning after being hit by a car close to Valley Station.
After receiving reports of a person being struck by a car, officers arrived at the 12000 block of Dixie Highway at approximately five in the morning. When police arrived, they discovered that the man had been hit to death.
According to witnesses, the man was traveling north on Dixie Highway on an electric scooter when the collision occurred.
The car’s driver remained on the scene and assisted law enforcement. At this time, authorities do not anticipate charging anyone.
After several hours of traffic rerouting, the road reopened at roughly eight in the morning.
